Piriformis Syndrome

Piriformis syndrome is a soft tissue condition theorized to be the source of symptoms for millions of people with lower back pain and sciatica. Piriformis syndrome remains a hotly contested diagnosis in the medical community, since there is little proof that the condition even exists as an independent entity, although the piriformis is surely implicated in many pain syndromes.
